Atenas Cordoba (Argentinian LigaA) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old American guard Larry O'Bannon. He has played for the last two seasons at Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos. In 42 LigaA games in Argentina he was fifth best scorer with impressive 18.3ppg and averaged 2.8rpg and 2.0apg last season. Good year as he was named League Player of the Week (2 times).The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others O'Bannon played in the final of Liga Sudamericana in 2015. He was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian LigaA Honorable Mention back in 2012.O'Bannon is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in nine different countries. O'Bannon tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally also in Bulgaria (Academic Sofia), France (Olympique Antibes), Greece, Israel (Hapoel Tel Aviv, Maccabi Rishon, Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Eilat), Italy, Russia (Krasnie Krilya), Switzerland (SAV Vacallo), Venezuela (Marinos) and Argentina (Boca Juniors, Lanus and San Martin Corrientes). O'Bannon attended University of Louisville until 2005 and it will be his 14th  season as a professional player.On O'Bannon: A guard who shoots well out from the screens and who can penetrate using his strength and his athletic skills. Can play in the 2 and 3 positions, but needs to improve his continuity and to play some more European basketball to improve in passing and court vision.
