San Martin Corrientes (Argentinian LigaA) agreed terms with 31-year old Argentinian international power forward Leonardo Mainoldi from GECR Indalo. In 56 LigaA games he recorded 11.9ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.2apg last season. He helped them to win the cup and end the regular season at the top position.The previous (14-15) season Mainoldi played at Quimsa where in 42 LigaA games he averaged 10.6ppg and 5.0rpg. He contributed to his team winning the league title.The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Mainoldi was voted Eurobasket.com All-EuroChallenge Honorable Mention back in 2012.He is a dual citizen owning also Italian passport. He has been also a member of Argentinian international program for some years. Mainoldi has regularly played for Argentinian senior team since 2006 and previously for U21 National Team between 2004 and 2005.He also represented Argentina at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) this year.Thanks to Mainoldi's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Mainoldi has played previously professionally in Spain (Laboral Kutxa, Valencia Basket, Burgos, Baloncesto Fuenlabrada and Lleida Basquet).
