Liberad Sunchales added to their roster the the 6�11� Czech power forward/center Jiri Hubalek. Last season Jiri joined Al Hilal Riyadh in the Saudi Arabia-Premier League. In 2012/13 he played in Italy, first in the LegaDue league with Nuovo Napoli Basket, then in Serie A, with Umana Reyer Venezia. There he averaged 4.5ppg and 2.7rpg last season. Among other achievements Hubalek won Italian Lega Due Play-Offs championship title in 2010. He received also Asia-Basket.com All-WABA League Honorable Mention award in 2012. Hubalek represented Czech Republic at the Qualifications to European Championships 2009 five years ago. Hubalek has played previously professionally in Czech Republic (USK Praha). He attended Iowa State until 2008 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
