The Belgian Division 1 team Belgacom Liege Basket decided to reinforce its roster by signing the 6.9” power forward/center Len Matela for the upcoming season. Len has played in Belgium since the 2003-04 season when he joined the Antwerpen team. Later he moved to Spirou Charleroi where he played until last season averaging 8.4 points and 4.3 rebounds. In 2007 he was named Player of the Year. In his career he won 3 championships with Charleroi and a cup with Antwerp.
