Metalac Farmakom Valjevo (Serbian KLS) agreed terms with 27-year old Serbian guard Marko Ljubicic. It is actually his comeback to Valjevo as he played here before.
Ljubicic played last season at La Bruixa d'Or in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 16 games he had 7.6ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.6apg. He also played at Meridiana(2MLS) that season. In only one game he recorded very impressive stats: 18 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals.
The previous (12-13) season Ljubicic played at SK Cherkasy Monkeys (Superleague) in Ukraine. In 38 games he recorded 6.9ppg, 4.8rpg and 2.9apg.
In 2011-12 he played at Ikaros in Greek A1 league. In 23 games he recorded 6.1ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.4apg.
In 2010-11 season Ljubicic played at Metalac Farmakom Valjevo. In 39 games he recorded 12.2ppg, 7.5rpg, 6.4apg and 2.1spg in 2010-11 season. Quite impressive year as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Serbian League Honorable Mention.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Montenegrin League championship title in 2010. Ljubicic was also voted Eurobasket.com All-World University Games 1st Team back in 2011. He represented Serbia at the World University Games in Shenzhen (China) three years ago. Ljubicic's team won Gold and his stats at that event were 6 games: 7.8ppg, 5.0rpg, Assists-5 (3.3apg), 1.7spg, FGP: 50.0%, 3PT: 23.5%, FT: 68.4%.
