Lorenzo Saccaggi is a newcomer at Mens Sana Siena
Mens Sana 1871 Siena (Italian Serie A2) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old former international point guard Lorenzo Saccaggi from Tezenis Verona. In 33 Serie A2 games he recorded 6.9ppg, 2.6rpg and 2.8apg last season.
The most of previous (2014-15) season Saccaggi spent at UCC Assigeco Piacenza where in 15 Serie A2 games he averaged 8.6ppg, 2.9rpg and 3.6apg. He also played for Unieuro 2.015 Forli (Serie B) that season. In 11 games he averaged 9.8ppg, 4.7rpg and 3.0apg.
Saccaggi won Italian Lega Due championship title in 2013.
He also represented Italy at the European Championships U20 in Slovenia four years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 3.8ppg, 1.5rpg, 1.5apg.
Saccaggi has played previously for another Italian team Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia.
