Barni Racing Team formalizes the arrival of Luca Bernardi in the team. The San Marino rider will race on a Ducati for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. 

An important leap forward for Luca Bernardi's career. After a good season in Supersport, which ended with an injury, the rider from San Marino will make his Superbike debut as early as 2022. Bernardi has in fact signed a contract with the Barni Racing Team.

Bernardi will also write a new record in the history of Superbike: he will in fact be the first rider ever to be born in the third millennium (29 August 2001) to race in the top category of motorcycles derived from the series.

An important agreement, the one reached with Bernardi, also for Team Barni who was looking for a young talent after the disastrous year lived together with Tito Rabat. The driver from San Marino is certainly a great profile given the two Italian titles he won, that of the Supersport 300 in 2017 and that of the Supersport in 2020 and the good performances shown in his full-time debut year in the Supersport World Championship.

The team has shown that they believe in my growth more than anyone else. After the crash at Magny-Cours they were always close to me and despite the injury they decided to bet on me.
