Former NBA star Georgi Glouchkov will be awarded this weekend in Castiglion Fiorentino (Florence), receiving the XXIII  International "Fair Play Mecenate Award". The purpose of the initiative is to assign meaningful acknowledgments to the personalities and/or National and International Sport Institutions for initiatives that represent valences of high moral level in the specific field of the "Fair Play".
Mr. Glouchkov, the first European to be ever signed in the NBA, was there with his historical agent, Luciano Capicchioni, President of Interperformances and Roberto Brunamonti, Italian top player and coach. The ceremony will be held tonight in Castiglion Fiorentino and will bi livestreamed in the Italian television.
