Last Friday, during the celebrations of 50th anniversary of its foundation in the Kursaal Convention Centre, the San Marino Basketball Federation awarded some of the prominent figures that helped the development of Basketball in the country.
Luciano Capicchioni, President of Interperformances was one of them, as not only he was the first president of the Federation, but he founded it, bringing relevance to a sport that wasn't formally acknowledged.
