Lugano claims the Swiss League Cup title
Lugano Tigers clinched the Swiss Cup for the first time in the club history. The match that took place yesterday, in front of 1400 viewers in Salle du Pierrier Montreux stadium, it's been a wonderful game . The Tigers overcame Fribourg 80-69, getting a small revenge on the last year loss. In the derby among the two top Swiss teams, Lugano had a quick start, keeping the pace for the whole game. 6'2" Guard Dusan Mladjan shined on the court, leading the winners with 21 points. 6'10" Power Forward Mohammed Abukar added 17 points, while 6'10 Center Byron Sanders collected 12 points and 11 rebounds.
