Lugano Tigers resigns Byron Sanders and Mohamed Abukar

After winning the Swiss LNA championship the Lugano Tigers decided to resign Abukar Mohamed (picture on the right) and Sanders Byron (picture on the left). The 6'10 Forward started playing for the Tigers in the play-offs of the 2008/2009 season. The 2009 was a great season for Mohammed as he not only, led the team in scoring and finished in the top five scorers of the entire LNA league with 18.3ppg but was also named Eurobasket.com All-Swiss LNA 1st Team and Eurobasket.com All-Imports Team 2010. For Byron Sanders will be his second consecutive season with the Tigers. The American center is in the top rankings in two statistical categories: Ranks 10th in rebounds per game with 6.9 and 6th in blocks per game with 1.2. In 39 games he registered: 7.2ppg, 6.9rpg, 1.1spg, Blocks-5(1.2bpg), FGP: 58.0%, 3PT: 34.5%, FT: 38.6%
