Luol Deng's double-double lands him Player of the Week award among British players playing currently abroad

This week's number one is an international forward Luol Deng. He led Chicago Bulls to a victory over the Utah Jazz (0-8) crushing them 97-73 in the NBA in Friday night's game. Deng was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 11 rebounds. Deng also added 9 assists and 5 steals in 38 minutes on the court. The Chicago Bulls have 3-3 record this season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Deng's tenth year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Deng averages: 14.8ppg, 5.7rpg, 4.5apg, 1.8spg, 2FGP: 50.8%, 3FGP: 5.6% and FT: 95.2%(20-21) in the six games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: British and Sudanese. Deng played for the British senior national team one years ago.
