Luther Head joins Interperformances

Interperformances is glad to announce the signing of the five years NBA veteran Luther Head. Luther, 27 years old, is a 6'3”, 185-pound shooting guard who played for four years with Houston Rockets and for a season with Indiana Pacers.
Head's attended High School at Manley Academy in Chicago where he averaged 22 points, eight rebounds, six assists and five steals. Later, he played college basket with the University of Illinois, where he led the team on his senior year with 15.9 ppg (622 points). Following the end of his senior season, he automatically became eligible for the upcoming NBA Draft. His stock was raised considerably over the course of his senior season and his play in the NCAA Tournament cemented his name in the draft: Luther was drafted in 2005 by Houston Rockets.
Luther's first foray in the NBA was with Houston, where he proved his worth taking into account the absences of Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming due to injuries. During the 2006-07 NBA season, Head averaged 10.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. He featured in the Rockets' line-up for four seasons. Head also impressed in Houston, where he established himself as a reliable clutch shooter, making several game-clinching shots late in games.
Last season Luther played for Indiana Pacers where he averaged 7.6ppg, 1.7rpg and 1.5apg in 47 competitions.
