Maccabi Kiryat Gat (Winner League) signed experienced 35-year old American forward James Singleton from Bnei Hertzeliyya. In 36 Winner League games in Israel he had 13.9ppg, 7.9rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1spg last season.
The previous (2015) summer Singleton played at Guaros in LPB where in 14 games he recorded 7.5ppg, 6.0rpg and 1.1apg in 2015 season. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Singleton was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA 2nd Team back in 2012.
He is quite experienced player. Singleton has played in five different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Italy (Armani Milano and Jesi), Spain (Laboral Kutxa), NBA (Dallas Mavericks, LA Clippers, New York Knicks and Washington Wizards), China (Guandong Tigers and Xinjiang Flying Tige) and D-League (Canton Charge).
