Kouvottaret (Finnish Korisliiga) landed 25-year old American 185cm forward Makeda Nicholas  for upcoming season. Nicholas played most recently at CS Universitatea Cluj Napoca in Romanian Liga Nationala. In 20 games she averaged 13.4ppg, 8.3rpg, 2.1apg, 1.3spg and 1.8bpg last season. It was a very successful year in her career as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times).Part of previous (2020-21) season she spent at Karsiyaka in Turkish TKBL where in four games she had very impressive stats: 17.0ppg, 12.0rpg, 2.3apg, 2.0spg and 1.0bpg in that year. She also played for U.S. Colomiers Basket (NF1) in French league. In four games she recorded also remarkable stats: 17.0ppg, 12.0rpg and 2.3apg in that year.Nicholas graduated from University of Delaware in 2019 and it will be her fourth season in pro basketball.
