Benetton Treviso ,Italy has signed one of the best young guards in Europe (class of 1986) Mantas Kalnietis to a multiyear contract. The 6'5” Lithuanian, who grew up in the world renowned Zalgiris school, has  the physical tools  that very few guards possess. Has blazing speed on the open court and can finish above the rim (won the Baltic League All-Star Game Slam Dunk Contest in 2008). His perimeter game is outstanding where he can either find his own shot, while hitting 49.3%  from the “3”last year, or driving to the basket finding the open teammate.
