BM Slam Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (Polish TBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old American swingman Marc Antonio Carter. He played most recently at AEK Athens in Greek A1 league. In 35 games he recorded 7.0ppg, 2.9rpg and 1.5apg last season. Carter helped them to make it to the semifinals. Great season indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 League Honorable Mention. Carter also played 9 games in Eurocup where he averaged 7.1ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.8apg.
The previous (14-15) season Carter played at PAOK Thessaloniki (also in A1). In 32 games he had 11.8ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.0apg and 1.1spg. He contributed to his team making it to the Greek Cup Semifinals. Carter also played 16 games in Eurocup where he got 11.2ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.3apg and 1.4spg.
Carter received All-CAA 1st Team award back in 2008 at his college time.
Carter has played also professionally in Cyprus (Proteas Danoi AEL Limassol) and Germany (Duesseldorf Baskets and Phoenix Hagen) and Greece (Panionios and A.G.O Rethymno Aegean).
He attended University of N.Carolina-Wilmington until 2008 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
