The 23 years old, 7'0” center, Marc Gasol was elected MVP for the 2007-08 championship in Spain. It was not a surprise seeing that he was named Player of the Month 5 out of 8 months during the season. He was first in the league in evaluation rating,, rebounding, blocked shots, shooting percentage, fouls received and minutes played. He was drafted by the Los Angles Lakers (where his brother Pau plays) in 2007. He plays for Akasuryo Girora in the Spanish Acb League
