Marcel Machado, better known as Marcelinho, had another one of those performances that only he can do. His play led  Flemengo Petrobras Rio de Janeiro to a win over Pinheiros San Paolo 92-87 in the first game of the Brazilian quarter-finals. Marcelinho played all 40 minutes, scoring 20 points,10 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. He shot 7-7 from the two, 5-12 from the three and 11 for 12 from the charity stripe.
