BC Orchies (French NM1) landed 27-year old American power forward Marquise Simmons. He played most recently at Zorg and Zekerheid Leiden in Dutch Eredivisie. In 20 games he averaged 6.5ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.6apg last season. Simmons helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also played in the Cup final and advanced to the league semifinals. The other team he played that season for was UMFN Njardvik (Dominos League) in Iceland where in 9 games he had very impressive stats: 18.7ppg, 11.4rpg and 3.2apg.Simmons' college team won Atlantic 10 Tournament in 2012.He has played also professionally in Holland for Leeuwarden.Simmons attended St.Bonaventure University until 2014 and it will be his third season in pro basketball.
