Serie C newcomer S.S.D. San Giobbe Basket Chiusi landed 27-year old former Argentinian international center Matias Bortolin. He has a double citizenship as he also holds Italian passport. Bortolin has played for the last two years at Comunicaciones in Argentinian La Liga. In 26 games he averaged 9.0ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.2apg and 1.0bpg last season. Good year as he was selected League Player of the Week.Bortolin was also a member of Argentinian international program for some years. He played for Argentinian Senior National Team between 2013 and 2016 and previously for U17 National Team between 2009 and 2010.Bortolin also represented Argentina at the Panamerican Games in Toronto (Canada) five years ago.
