Neptunas celebrated pre-season tournament title in Liepaja. The Klaipeda team held off Siauliai to finish on top. Martynas Mazeika scored 21 points to lead the winners.
Neptunas fired 27 points in the opening quarter to ensure a 3-point lead. Neptunas stayed in front throughout the second quarter. They posted a 53:45 halftime advantage. Siauliai cut the deficit by one point in the third term. But it was not enough. Neptunas responded with a 20:11 run in the fourth frame to seal the victory.
