Mildura Basketball announced the signing of Fanni Szabo for the 2022 Big V Season. 28-year-old Szabo, a 6'0 Guard/Small Forward joined the Heat from Budapest Hungary and Euro League where she has played since graduating from NCAA Division 1 Dartmouth College.
Head Coach James Madigan on Szabo's signing: "Very excited to add the last piece of the puzzle to our team and if everything goes well, for the first time this season, we should be able to put our full team on the court Saturday night."
Szabo arrived in Mildura on wedneday night, which only gave her a few days to try and shake off some of the jetlag before the weekend,and Round 6 this Saturday at the Hothouse!
