Dinamo made a great victory in the final game of Zurab Sakandelidze - Mikheil Korkia Memorial against Sokhumi and got their first title in season. Dinamo won this tournament for the first time in their history.
Before the start of the final game, Georgian Basketball Federation invited veteran basketball players and the family members of Olympic championsh to remember about legendary players.
What about the game, it was a real final dramatic, emotional, tough, spectacular. Dinamo started in a great way and the one could thought they would get an easy win. Stevan Milosevic led the Superleague top team to edge Sokhumi 26:16 in the opening quarter.
The second frame started in the same way. Dinamo increased their lead to 13 points with 5 minutes left, but here Sokhumi overcame a great game from Joshua Jackson and Jeremy Simmons to win the last minutes of the first half 23:5 and at the interval Sokhumi was already leading 43:38.
Dinamo got back the control in the third quarter. With good playing in defence, they made 59:50 leading , but Sokhumi didnt give up, they closed the gap in the end of the third quarter and later, they started leading again. Jackson gave Sokhumi back the hope to win the title, but Sokhumi couldnt stop Stevan Milosevic, who took away Sokhumis chances. His brilliant performance led Dinamo to 80:75 victory. Dinamo player more mobilized in the last minutes and won the first tournament in 2013.
Stevan Milosevic finished with a game-high 33 points and 11 rebounds.
Joshua Jackson paced Sokhumi with 20 points whileJeremy Simmons finished with a double-double.
Stevan Milosevic was awarded the best forward of the tournament. This is his second Sakandelidze-Korkia Memorial MVP award. and Joshua Jackson won the award of the best guard. They both were awarded by the president of Georgian Basketball Federation, Mikheil Gabrichidze.
The season of 2013 year is done. New season of 2014 will start on January 17th, when the tournament of Cup of Georgia will take a start.

Stevan Milosevic (Dinamo): First, I want to congratulate to Sokhumi for a good game. Also, congratulations to my team for winning this cup. It is the first cup of 2013 season and I hope we continue like this. Obviosly, Im very happy , it was really tough game, we started well, especially in defence, but then we collapsed in the second quarter, but fortunately we managed to win this game and its important for us, that is something we have been working for during the half season, and I hope, the best is yet to come.

Joshua Jackson (Sokhumi): Congatulations to Dinamo, they played good. It was a tough game, we came back in the second quarter, and in the last frame we didnt make some shots and they hit some shots, we still fought till the end, it just was not enough. I want to say one thing, from the third minute of the third quarter there was a one foul call for me from this point to the end of the game, Davit Berekashvili doesnt respect us, he looked at the game as it is a joke for me, and Im upset about this and I will send DVD into Federation. This is terrible. He was on the base line and he just look away and dont call it. I said something to him because hes wrong and he dont do this just today, he did the same in Batumi, when we had almost won the game. He does the same things in every game. Well, its not about me or something, Dinamo made a victory, they played well and congratulations to them once more.
