29-year old swingman Dwayne Mitchell  put on an amazing game in the last round of the Israeli Premier League for Ironi Ashkelon and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 16.
He had a double-double of 27 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Hapoel Holon (9-6) 73-71. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Ironi Ashkelon is placed at 3rd position in Israeli league. 
In the team's last game Mitchell had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He turned to be Ironi Ashkelon's top player in his first season with the team. University Louisiana at Lafayette graduate has very impressive stats this year. Mitchell is in league's top in assists (7th best: 4.9apg) and averages solid 2.1spg and 56.6% FGP.
