Mitchell's double-double lands him Player of the Week award
29-year old swingman Dwayne Mitchell put on an amazing game in the last round of the Israeli Premier League for Ironi Ashkelon and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 16.
He had a double-double of 27 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Hapoel Holon (9-6) 73-71. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Ironi Ashkelon is placed at 3rd position in Israeli league.
In the team's last game Mitchell had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He turned to be Ironi Ashkelon's top player in his first season with the team.
