Dominican Republic Luis Montero had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Cocodrilos de Caracas, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 26.The 32-year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Guaiqueries (#5, 10-6) 91-82. Cocodrilos is placed at 2nd position in Venezuelan SPB.  They have a solid 12-3 record. In the team's last game Montero had a remarkable 91.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Cocodrilos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former South Plains College star has very solid stats this year. Montero leads league in rebounds with 10.5rpg. Montero is in league's top in assists (7th best: 4.5apg) and averages impressive 2.4spg and 67.7% FGP.
