In the game against Montepaschi Siena the 7'0” power forward / center Donatas Motiejunas put on an extraordinary performance for Benetton Treviso by scoring 16 points in the Italian SerieA, leading his team to the victory.
It was since May 30th, 2007 that Montepaschi didn't loose a home game in the National first league. After almost three years and 60 consecutive victories, the Italian current best team has been defeated thanks especially to the key performance of the Lithuanian and his 12 points scored in the last quarter. In 20 minutes on the floor Donatas dropped 4-of-5 FGs, 2-of-2 three pointers and 2-of-3 FTs, adding also 7 rebounds, 2 steals and one assist.
Donatas Motiejunas is considered a likely lottery pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.
