Taiwan P.League+ team New Taipei Kings strengthened their roster with addition of 34-year old American power forward DaJuan Summers. He played most recently at Mahram Tehran (Iran-Superleague) where in 12 games he recorded impressive stats: 19.3ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.1apg. In 2009 Summers was drafted by Detroit Pistons (NBA) in second round (35th overall). He attended Georgetown University and it will be his fourteenth season in pro basketball. Summers is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course America) in eight different countries. Summers has played previously professionally in France (Levallois), Italy, Korea (SK Knights), Spain (Gran Canaria), Turkey (Pinar Karsiyaka and Galatasaray), Ukraine, NBA (New York Knicks), NBA G League (Maine Red Claws and Westchester Knicks), Saudi Arabia (Al Ittihad Jeddah), Iran (Mahram Tehran), Puerto Rico (Indios de Mayaguez) and Japan (Shimane Susanoo Magic).
