Former international center Nikolay Varbanov had an amazing evening in the last round for Tundja Yambol and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 15. The 25-year old center had a double-double of 27 points and sixteen rebounds, while his team was edged out by Balkan 70-66. Tundja maintains the 6th position in Bulgarian NBL. (...) Varbanov turned to be Tundja's top player in his first season with the team. Varbanov has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 11.1rpg) and averages solid 54.7% FGP.
