Niksa Bavcevic is the new Head Coach for U Mobitelco Cluj-Napoca

Niksa Bavcevic  left Split to take over Romanian squad U Mobitelco Cluj-Napoca. The Croatian specialist signed a 2-year deal with the club. Bavcevic joined Split in January this year and helped them reach the Playoff Semifinals in Croatia. The team also played in Cup Semis. Bavcevic started the season with Jolly Jadranska Banka Sibenik, but they parted ways in November. 
Niksa Bavcevic   is not a new face in Romania and he already worked there. He was a Head Coach of Steaua Turabo Bucuresti in 2010/11 season. They reached Romanian Cup Finals and League Semis together. In 2009/10, Bavcevic coached Trogir and before that he worked with Roseto and Avtodor Saratov. From 2005 to 2007, he worked with Belgian Dexia Mons-Hainaut winning the Cup trophy with them (2006). From 1999 to 2005, Niksa Bavcevic  was Head Coach of Pepinster. In 2003, he was named Eurobasket Belgian League Coach of the Year.
