NPC Rieti (Italian Serie A2) re-signed 29-year old forward Giovanni Carenza. He played there last season. In 30 Serie A2 games he averaged 5.9ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.1apg.The previous (16-17) season Carenza played at BCC Corvengenze Agropoli where in 30 Serie A2 games he had 7.8ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.0apg.His team was regular season runner-up in Italian Serie A2 West in 2016.Carenza has played previously for five other teams: Perugia, Roseto Sharks, Siena Virtus, Veroli and Ostuni.He attended St. Anselm College until 2009 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
