31-year old shooting guard Larry O'Bannon had an amazing evening in the last round for Hapoel T-A , receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had a double-double of 29 points and 13 rebounds, while his team crushed Maccabi T-A (#4, 4-2) with 20-point margin 78-58. He had also a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Hapoel T-A's top player in his first season with the team.
Larry O'Bannon recently moved to Hapoel Tel Aviv from Maccabi Rishon, where he was averaging 12.3 ppg and 6 rpg.
Hapoel Tel-Aviv moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hapoel Holon and Maccabi Haifa. Defending champion Maccabi T-A keeps the fourth position with two games lost.
