Obradoiro lands rookie William Buford
William Buford is set to start his professional basketball career. The American G/SF penned a 1-year deal with Spanish Liga Endesa team Obradoiro. Buford graduated at the Ohio State University few months ago. He had 14.5 ppg, 5 rpg and 2.7 assists for 39 games as a senior. The player helped Ohio State to reach NCAA Final Four. Buford was named to USBasket.com All-NCAA D1 3rd Team -12 and All-Big Ten 2nd Team-12. As junior and sophomore William Buford had almost the same numbers as last season. In 2011, he was also named to All-Big Ten 2nd Team. With Ohio State, Buford won Big Ten Tournament twice (2010 and 2011). They also reached NCAA Sweet 16 two times. In 2009, Buford was Big Ten Freshman of the Year.
