It's the 6'6” power forward/small forward Omar Thomas the best player of the Italian league LegaDue. The Enel Brindisi forward has been choosen as Most Valuable Player by a nationwide vote of selected coaches, captains and GMs. But for the first year the vote has been extended to the team's fans all over the web. Both the tecnhical committee and the 16000 fans that voted on the website agreed that Thomas had been the most remarkable player of the 2009/10 season.
This award does not come as a surprise, considering the astonishing performance of this player in the last season. In 30 games played, Omar averaged 18.3 points, 7,5 rebounds and 2.2 steals.
