Omar Thomas signs with Enel Brindisi
6'6 forward Omar Thomas signed with Enel Brindisi, in the Italian Lega2. After playing two years with the Rimini Crabs, Omar started this past season with Elan Bearnais Pau-Orthez in the French ProA League and later moved to Solsonica Rieti in the Italian SerieA, where he was instrumental in keeping the team from not being demoted to the lower league LegaDue. In the Italian team he averaged 11.5 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 1.0 apg and 1.6 spg
