6'6" forward Omar Thomas has signed for the rest of the season with Solsonica Rieti in the Italian SerieA. Omar, who arrived today in Italy, should play next sunday against Virtus Bologna. Better known with his nickname "O.T.", he has good tactical skills and is a hard worker with a team mentality which is appreciated by his coaches and teammates. Omar has already experience in Italy where he played two years with the Rimini Crabs (2006/08) in LegaDue. He started this season with Elan Bearnais Pau-Orthez in French ProA League.
