Newly promoted Panionios ON Telecoms Athens (Greek A1) added to their roster 31-year old American power forward Esian Henderson. He played most recently at Pyrinto in Finnish Korisliiga. In 24 games he recorded 10.3ppg and 6.2rpg in 2015-16 season. Henderson helped them to make it to the final. He also played that season for Kleb Basket Ferrara in Italian Serie A where in 23 games he averaged 9.3ppg, 7.0rpg and 1.6apg.In 2013 (four years after he left the college) Henderson was drafted by Iowa Energy (D-League) in fifth round (69th overall).He attended of Central Missouri (NCAA Div.II) until 2009. It will be his ninth season in pro basketball.The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Henderson won Slovakian League championship title in 2011. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League Honorable Mention back in 2012.Henderson is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Henderson tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Jordan (ASU), Sweden (BC Lulea), Turkey (Istanbul DSI), ABA (Kansas City S.), Hungary (Zalakeramia-ZTE KK), Czech Republic (Levice and MMCITE Brno), NBA G League (Iowa Wolves) and Slovakia (Levice).
