6'8” power forward Paulius Jankunas has signed with BC Khimki Moscow Region that plays in the tough Russian Superleague and in the Euroleague. Last year he was the team leader at Zalgiris Kaunas, his hometown, after playing six seasons there and is only 24 years old. Paulius has gotten better every year with hard work and does not have limits. Among the many awards he won in the 2008-09 season are Eurobasket.com ALL-Lithuanian LKL player of the year and, to show his complete game, he was named to the All-Lithuanian LKL all Defensive Team.
