PBC Lukoil Akademik ends the Bulgarian regular season at best, winning the last round by 18 points. Yesterday, in the game against BC Euroins-Cherno More, the 6'9” power forward Antic Pero made a big impact by scoring 40 points in 35 minutes. The Macedonian National Team player finished the game 9-of-15 field goals, 5-of-8 three pointers and 7-of-8 free throws, adding also five rebounds, two assists and five stolen balls.
This is not Pero's first year with the Bulgarian first team. He already played in Lukoil in 2007/08 where he was awarded as Bulgrian A1 Regular season MVP, top scorer and top rebounder.
Lukoil's first game of the Bulgarian playoffs will take place on May 3rd, against Chernomorets.
