The Hungarian PF/C Peter Lorant has agreed terms with the Italian serie A Club Virtus Roma. It will be the first Italian experience for the Hungarian centre. He played lately in Spain. Last season Peter Lorant  played for Lagun Aro. He registered 3.4 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in ACB. Previously Peter Lorant had stints with Ford Burgos, Ricoh Manresa, Antwerp Giants, Debreceni and Kormend. Eurobasket.com named the centre into Spanish LEB Gold All-Bosmans Team in 2011. Peter Lorant  played for Hungarian U20 National Team. He has been the member of the Hungarian National Team since 2006.
