Piratas de Vargas (Venezuelan LNB) signed 25-year old American center Nigel Spikes. He moved there from Miami Midnites (FBA) in the U.S. where he started the season. He helped them to win the league title. Spikes graduated from Marshall University in 2013 and it will be his first season as a professional player. The centre tallied 5.7ppg, 7.3rpg and 1.9bpg in his senior season.
