Rafael Freire Luz selected the top Brazilian playing abroad in last week's games
This week's number one is an international point guard Rafael Freire Luz (188-92, currently plays in Spain). He contributed to Baskonia's victory against the closely-ranked CB Canarias (20-10) 76-72 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Thursday night's game. Freire Luz scored 8 points in 16 minutes on the court. Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz (21-9) is placed fourth in the Liga Endesa. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Freire Luz's first season with the team. This year he averages: 2.9ppg, 1.3rpg, 1.4apg, 2FGP: 67.7%(21-31), 3FGP: 24.2% and FT: 71.4% in 26 games he played so far. Freire Luz has a dual citizenship: Brazilian and Spanish.
