Michelin Etha Engomis Nicosia (Cypriot OPAP Basket League) added to their roster 28-year old American power forward Raheem Johnson for new 2021-22 season. Johnson played last season at Tskhum-Abkhazeti in Georgian Superleague. In 27 games he recorded 11.1ppg, 6.6rpg and 1.3bpg. He helped them to make it to the Georgian League final and Cup semifinals. Quite impressive season as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Georgian League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week. The previous (19-20) season he played at KB Rahoveci in Kosovan Superliga where in only one game he averaged just 2 points, 1 rebound and 1 steal. Johnson also played 3 games in Balkan League where he had 7.7ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.0bpg. He also spent pre-season at Lusitania (LPB) in Portuguese league.Johnson has played previously professionally in Cyprus (Etha) and Sweden (Wetterbygden). His college team won MAC Tournament in 2015.He attended University of Buffalo until 2017 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.
