Real Madrid land Martynas Pocius
Martynas Pocius will continue his career in Spain. The guard has agreed on terms of contract with Real Madrid. The deal is meant for next two seasons. Martynas Pocius played for Zalgiris since 2009. Last season he tallied 10.7 points, 2.1 boards and 2.1 assists per game in LKL. In Euroleague his stats read 10.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists per appearance. In Baltic League Martynas Pocius provided 8.3 points and 3.3 rebounds. The guard also posted 12.0 points, 2.0 assists, 1.2 boards and 1.1 steals per game in VTB League. Eurobasket.com named Martynas Pocius into All-Lithuanian LKL 1st Team. He also made it into VTB League All-Europeans Team. Martynas Pocius played for Lithuania at 2010 World Championship. He averaged 9.6 points, 2.6 boards and 1.6 assists in Turkey.
