Regatas Corrientes (Argentinian LigaA) signed experienced 35-year old American power forward Chevon Troutman. He played last season at Entente Orleans 45 in French ProA. In 28 games he had 9.4ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.1spg.
The previous (14-15) season Troutman played at Stelmet in Polish TBL. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 40 TBL games he recorded 6.7ppg and 4.9rpg. Troutman helped them to win the league title (twice) and the cup (also twice). Troutman also played 1 game in Euroleague where he averaged 4 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. He also played 10 games in Eurocup where he got 8.1ppg and 5.2rpg.
In 2005 Troutman was drafted by Albany Patroons (CBA) in third round (17th overall).
He attended University of Pittsburgh and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Troutman was voted Eurobasket.com All-German Bundesliga Honorable Mention back in 2013.
He is quite experienced player. Troutman has played in four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Italy (Libertas Liburnia and Scandone Avellino), Germany (Bayern Muenchen) and Dominican Republic (CDP Domingo Paulino Santiago and Metros de Santiago).
