6'5” G/SF Reggie Williams played his best game of the season against probably the best team in the league. Yesterday, in the second quarter of the game against San Antonio Spurs the Golden State Warriors lost one of their guards to a sprained right ankle, so they relied on Williams. And Reggie paid them off with an amazing game.
Williams notched a career-high 31 points off the bench. He was 11-for-16 shooting, including 8 of 10 from 3-point range. Reggie also added 2 rebounds and 2 assists in 35 minutes of playing.
"I just got into a rhythm. I got into a groove," said Williams. "So, from here on forward I've just got to stay with an aggressive mind state."
The Warriors may have lost one guard, but they found in Reggie a powerful player. Williams' next challenge will be tomorrow night, against Miami Heat.
