Talented British Ryan Richards (in the picture) had a great game in the last round for league's leader BC Vienna and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 24.
The 21-year old had a double-double of 22 points and eleven rebounds, while his team crushed Oberwart with 16-point margin 81-65. It allowed BC Vienna to consolidate first place in the Austrian A Bundesliga. BC Vienna has a very solid 17-5 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Richards just recently signed at BC Vienna and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Ryan Richards averages just after two games 27.5ppg and 10.5rpg.
Another grat performance in the last round of the Austrian top league was Montenegrin Radosav Spasojevic of Arkadia. Spasojevic scored 25 points and grabbed twelve rebounds. Despite Spasojevic's great performance Arkadia lost 74-87 to the higher-ranked Wels.
Spasojevic has individually a great season in Austria. After 22 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.5ppg (5th best).
