Veteran 6'9” power forward Rick Hughes has signed with Grupo Begar Leon in the Spanish Leb Gold league. Rick is very experienced having played in some of the best leagues of the world. He started his career in the NBA and has played in top leagues of France, Spain and Italy. Rick returns to Leon team after having played one year with Hyeres-Toulon Var Basket in the French ProA league. In the 2006/07 season Rick helped the team to gain the promotion in the ACB league, averaging 16.3 ppg and grabbing 5.7 rpg. Now that the team has been demoted to the Leb Gold league we hope that Rick could help Leon to take back its spot in the Spanish first league.
