7'5” center Alexandr Rindin gained a tryout with the Universitet-Yugra Surgut team in the Russian Superleague.
Alexandr started the 2010-11 season in Poland with PGE Turow, then moved in Turkey where he joined Genc Telekom. Rindin is a member of the Azerbaijan National Team, with which he played last summer in the Qualifications to the European Championships, averaging 14.3 points and 8.3 rebounds.
