6'6” guard/small forward Riste Stefanov has signed with San Severo in the Italian LegaDue league. Riste was born in Macedonia, but received a Bulgarian passport in 2007. He has played for the past five years with Lukoil Akademik Sophia, always winning the Bulgarian Championship. Last year he averaged 12.2 ppg shooting 69.2% from the “2”, 46.9% from the “3” and 90% from the free throw line. Has been an important member of the Macedonian National team since 2002.
